Getting started with Nadigit IMS
This guide walks you through your first steps in Nadigit IMS, from signing in to your first sale.
1. Sign in
- Open your Nadigit IMS instance address in a recent browser (Chrome, Edge or Firefox).
- Enter your username and password.
- Click Sign in.
On your very first sign-in you may be asked to set a new password. Choose a strong, confidential password.
2. Discover the interface
After signing in you land on the dashboard. The interface has:
- The side menu: access to the modules (Organization, Inventory, Purchases, Sales, Point of Sale, Reports, Finance…).
- The top bar (right side): notifications, action reminders, the NadiPilot assistant and the account menu (My account, Take a tour, Logout).
- The central area: the content of the open module.
Nadigit IMS is available in French, English, Arabic and Spanish. The display language is chosen from the Profile page; the browser remembers it, and the interface starts in English on a new computer (see Navigation & roles).
3. Recommended first steps
At installation, the system creates the first organization, with a warehouse ("Main Warehouse") and a shop ("Main Store") fitted with its cash register. You can rename and extend them. An organization added later starts without a warehouse or a shop.
First of all, an administrator chooses the organization's business activity profile: until it is set, every screen leads back to Global settings.
To get up and running quickly, we suggest this order, detailed step by step in Initial setup:
- Check your company information: name, logo and contact details in Organization → My Company; currency and tax in System Settings → Global settings.
- Rename / review your default warehouse and shop (and add more if your plan allows).
- Create your item categories.
- Add your items: see Items & stock.
- Register your suppliers and customers.
- Make a first sale at the point of sale.
4. A guided tour inside the app
On your first use, a guided tour presents the main features directly in the app. You can restart it anytime via the account menu → Take a tour. Contextual help hints are also available on most screens: click the help icon to show explanations for the current page.
