Checking items with low stock

What is it for?

An item whose quantity falls below the low stock threshold is flagged before it runs out, so you can reorder in time.

Steps

1. Open Inventory → Items.
2. The counters at the top of the page show how many items are in Low Stock and Out of Stock.
3. Click the Low Stock filter above the list to show only those items. The Out of Stock filter does the same for items that have run out.

Inoxal example: 8 mortise locks left, below the threshold of 10.

Each item concerned carries the low stock badge in the Sellable stock column.

Good to know

• The threshold is a global setting defined by the administrator, 10 by default.
• Low stock is assessed per warehouse: an item can be low in one warehouse and well stocked in another.
• The notifications bell also flags low stock items. To be warned outside the application, set up an email, Telegram or WhatsApp channel: see Notifications and alerts.
• For “what should I order?”, NadiPilot and the Demand forecasting report go further than the threshold.
