Frequently asked questions

How do I change the app language?

The display language is set from the account menu → My account (preferred language). It is remembered by the browser: on a new computer, the interface starts in English. Nadigit IMS is available in French, English, Arabic and Spanish. Note: the organization's default language is a separate setting that applies to generated documents (receipts, invoices, emails).

Why can't I check out at the point of sale?

The point of sale needs an open session: click Open Session in the banner. See Opening and closing the till.

An item doesn't appear at the point of sale.

Check the warehouse selected at the top of the till screen: the item must have stock in that warehouse and not be entirely written off. See Point of sale troubleshooting.

My stock level looks wrong.

Check Inventory → Stock Movements to trace every change. Common causes: an unrecorded transfer, a write-off, or an unreceived purchase. Fix it if needed with a stock adjustment.

How do I add a user or change their permissions?

In System Settings → Users and permissions (administrators only). See Administration.

How do I grant a customer credit payment?

Open a credit account on the customer record and set a credit limit. See Customers & credit.

Can I export a report?

Yes, most reports are exportable. See Reports.

How do I get warned of stock-outs or expiries?

Enable a notifications channel (email or Telegram) to receive alerts even when offline. See Notifications & alerts.

Where are the backups?

In System Settings → Backups. Make regular copies and test the restore. See Administration.

A feature is unavailable / greyed out.

It may depend on your subscription plan. See Licensing & plans.
