E-commerce integration

The integration connects an online store to Nadigit IMS. Nadigit IMS remains the reference for items, prices, taxes and stock; the store sends it its orders.

What is synchronized

DirectionWhat flows
Nadigit IMS → storeCatalog of the bound warehouse (name, description, category, price, tax, images, barcodes) and available quantities. Every stock change, whether from the point of sale, a purchase, a write-off, a transfer or a return, is signalled to the store. A deactivated or sold-out item is taken off sale online.
Nadigit IMS → storeStatus of web orders: processing, delivered, canceled, returned, and the payment status.
Store → Nadigit IMSOrders placed online, recorded as sales, and their cancellations.

Requirements

  • The Enterprise plan.
  • In the warehouse the store will sell from: active items with a selling price and stock.
  • A shop to attach online sales to. They then stay separate from point-of-sale sales in reports.
  • The store and Nadigit IMS must be able to call each other over HTTPS.
  • The Administrator role.
One store, one warehouse

Each store is bound to a single warehouse and a single shop. To sell the stock of two warehouses online, create two integrations.

Platforms

PlatformConnector
BagistoConnector supplied by Nadigit
Shopify, WooCommerce, CustomA connector built on the Integration API

Connect a store

1. Declare the store

  1. Open System Settings → Global settings, Integrations tab, then E-commerce Integrations.
  2. Click New integration and fill in:
    • the Platform and a Name;
    • the Storefront URL, its public address;
    • the bound Warehouse and Shop, required before provisioning;
    • the Webhook path, the address on the store that receives Nadigit IMS notifications. The suggested value suits the Bagisto connector;
    • the Webhook secret (HMAC): leave it empty, provisioning generates it.
  3. Click Save.

2. Provision the connector

In the list, click Provision connector on the store's row. Nadigit IMS creates the connector's identity: a technical account that can only reach the Integration API, and only for the bound warehouse and shop.

The Connector configuration window then shows:

  • the Nadigit IMS address and the token address;
  • the client ID and the client secret;
  • the webhook secret.
Copy the configuration right away

The window warns that both secrets are only shown at that moment: click Copy JSON and keep it somewhere safe until the next step. Provisioning can be run again safely: it changes neither the connector account nor its secrets.

3. Install the connector on the store

For Bagisto:

  1. Install the connector supplied by Nadigit on the store.
  2. In the Bagisto admin, open Configure → ERP Connector and import the JSON copied in step 2.
  3. Save, then click Test Connection.
For the Bagisto store administrator

The PHP intl extension must be enabled. After installing the connector, clear the application cache (php artisan optimize:clear): otherwise orders are not sent.

4. Check

Back in E-commerce Integrations, the store's row shows Provisioned. The Test connection button checks that Nadigit IMS reaches the store, and the Last sync column shows the latest exchange in each direction: Inbound (store → IMS) and Outbound (IMS → store).

Online orders

  • Prices and taxes recalculated. Nadigit IMS recalculates each order with its own prices and taxes. If the store's total differs, the order is still recorded, with a price mismatch warning. To avoid it, align the store's taxes with those of Nadigit IMS.
  • Stock. The order takes stock out of the bound warehouse.
  • Customer. The customer is found by e-mail, or created.
  • Payment. An order paid at checkout (card, wallet or payment gateway such as Stripe or PayPal, bank transfer) is recorded as paid. A cash on delivery order stays unpaid until collected.
  • Cancellation. An order canceled on the store puts its stock back. Any refund is handled manually.
  • No duplicates. An order sent again by the store, for example after an outage, is never recorded twice.

Good practice

  • Edit the catalog in Nadigit IMS, not on the store: Nadigit IMS is the reference, and its changes are sent to the store.
  • After going live, check a few items on the store: price, tax, stock and images.
  • Align taxes on both sides before opening online sales.
  • Deleting an integration immediately stops synchronization with that store.
